Summer is comming. Shorts, skirts, short sleeve tops, swimsuits are waiting for you to show off your lucious body. However, do you know what is the 'dangerous enemy' of these above lovely clothings?... It must be the unwanted hair on your body. Without them, your hair would look smoother and cleaner.
Coming here, I will tell you how to get them off.
Background: I have tried some other methods to remove them on my body, for example:
1. Shave razor:
- Pros: Cheap, quick, does not hurt
- Cons: + The hair growing is harder than before
+ The frequency is quite regular (3-4 days)
+ Does not remove the roots of hair
+ There is a risk of skin damage from the razor.
+ May experience ingrown hair which causes pain, and lost aesthetics.
2. Hair removal cream (Veet for sensitive skin)
- Pros:
+ Cheap, simple, does not hurt
+ Hair growing afterwards is not as hard as those using razor
- Cons:
+ Hair will grow after only a week so that it would take time to use regularly
+ Chemical smell
+ In the long term, it doesn't help hair grows thinner
+ Importantly, For me who have a sensitive skin, area where using that cream appear pimples.
These two above methods did not suitable to my skin, which was the reason why I bought Braun silk 9 epilator.

- Price: £88 at amazon.co.uk
- Pros:
+ only need to use once a month
+ the new grown hair will smoother and thinner (I need more time to test)
- Cons:
+ painful, especially for who having big hair follicles.
+ might experience the ingrown hair, but I can avoid this phenomenon by using body scrubs (Click here for further information)
Honestly, I bought it 6 weeks ago. After the first few times using, I was quite satisfied with this products. Listing some general pros and cons of the epilator above, I still need more times to experience and update my review for you guys later. Many thanks.
